Peter
I used the Signature finish "Honey Teak". It does change the color slightly, but different shades are available. I used 4 coats and then 2 clear, sanded and buffed after. The clear is very hard to put on, but the finish is maintenance free for years and easy to repair I like the sound of "Joey's" mixture

Teak options? When dismantling the 23CC for renovation, I choose the option to remove it all and replace it with modern UV resistant low maintainence materials.
I never regretted the vinyl siding on the house...

Joey ... How well does it build up ?? Does it get the "glass" like look?? I also like the teak au natural ...it’s a bit of work to keep it that way …but its all Gucci !!! I’ve used Honey teak and like the results a lot … one of my favorite teak “dressings” … I also think I used a lot of Tip Top Teak oil with good results. |

Scott, you should have seen the teak work at the Viking plant. ManOman you could have ice skated on it. Of course totally automated, but flawless nun the less.
I personally like the natural myself. I think I'll have to work the old before I know what to do with the new.

Scott, The west system part of the application fills all the grain and actually builds a pretty thick coating. The Awlgrip is the clear build up that gives it that deep rich, thick look.I put I think 8 coats of clear on my skiff, but I do remember my days on Merritt boats sanding and varnishing endlessly, get to the end of the boat and it was time to go start over. With this when it starts to look funky, hit it with alittle 300 grit and put on some more Awlgrip.
