Minimal dunes and the homes will dissapear...try down around RockportTexas that seems to be an area gaining popularity with better fishing...I don't live in Houston anymore. Out of Galveston you gotta go 20 miles off to get to decent water depths and your really need to go alot farther. The rigs make nice reef structures to fish and some are lighted at night...it is like fishing under the lights on a baseball field. You buy a rig hook and hook to the rig...hardly ever use your anchor.
