Jim,
That's the boat I was going to tell you about. I've only lived in Marshfield for 3 months so I don't know anything more than what's mentioned in the advertisement.

I own a 23' 1975 Tsunami re-done with a 5.7 300HP freshwater cooled Mercruiser and a Bravo 3. I've written about it extensively on this site. Boat rides and handles like a dream !

Not exactly sure - but I "estimate" about 6-8 gph @ 3200 RPM's ( about 28-30 mph, based on speedometer ).

The setup is clean and great for the hull. I am spinning 24" pitch props at amax of 4500 RPM's. She boogies, fully loaded, full fuel ( 70 gallons ) at about 45 mph - faster on a glass-flat, day.

Scott and jcm1,

I looked at that Boat a week or so ago. It is the "Reel Dream" which was a Cohasset boat owned by a nieghbor of my boat's previous owner. The I/O is a Bravo 1 I believe. The hull has had some repairs which can be found in the gelcoat. Otherwise it is all there. Asking price is $17,900??

That sound a little hopefull for 5 MPG, I have a friend who is running a Ford 351 in a 24 Bayliner and he runs at 22-24 and says he gets a steady 2 MPG. He watches his fuel consumption pretty close. Would be great is that is the case. I am running a 23WA w/200 hp Merc so would be hard to compare. Probably about the same weight. The boat really rides great. I can get 44 MPH on flat water w/a ripple, running 5500 RPM, but that is probably sucking 16-18 gal per hour.

Scott I hope to look at that boat labor day weekend, I will be in Bostson with my wife and the boy. I want him to grow up with the same boat I did! My father had a 75 Sceptre with twin 165 Mercruisers in line 6 cylender engines, red hull just like the performance test boat!!! Cooler seat, I can remember standing on the foot rest to see over the glove box! GREAT BOAT & MEMORIES

I hope to have one soon to start restoring it, any one who knows of them let me know! I saw an inboard model Tsunami in Montauk!
