I stay in a camper at Bahia Honda State Park, under $200 for 10 days, no dockage fee in the small marina, free ramp, right between the bridges, go either way or snorkle for bugs 100 yards from your campsite.
Not a party site, Alcohol is technically not allowed, but good fishing, great for families. I'll be there in November from the Saturday before Thanksgiving, through Thanksgiving day. Probably be a friend w/ me bringing his family and '74 Tsunami. There are a couple of other guys I see there every year with Potter-builts, but I havn't connected them with this site.
