Whitewater Boats?

Bryan: nice boat! I saw the deck mold at WW a few years ago and didn't know if he ever built one. My boat had some history relating to the USCG and Customs in its past and also had 4 fuel tanks and twin I/Os at one ime. The previous owner bought it as scrap from the Customs Auction.

ABe's; the ride of the 25 ww is very similar to an older-style 25 contender or 25 Seavee, or like a "longer" version of a 23 SC. In smaller chop, the SC and WW are similar in a headsea, but when the waves get a little bit larger, the extra several feet helps bridge the crests.

A 225 will plane easily, and with a 19p prop get you into the low 40s WOT, but I would not reccomend running one loaded, ice, fuel, water, and 3 "real beer" drinking friends for long periods of time. For no real good reason, I put 2 of them on the back....and purchased another identical pair of new 225s to replace these when they go south (not happened yet, nearly 2000hrs in 4 yrs)

The WW is a lot like the SC, but with a much smaller "cult" following. (Norman built far fewer of them). However, there will ALWAYS be a market for resale as your exit, the ones which come available never stay listed long. I have been very pleased with mine, it gets run hard and put away wet often, but still remains a blast to operate and has a little style at the same time (like a SC)!
