Default Re: Is it possible to ever get your money back?

I have an answer from a buyers point of view. I am new to boating, I surf fish and am finding it a little less enjoyable I want to fish from a boat, Light tackle bass blues and albies.
I don't know how I got so enamered with these classic sea crafts, but I am. I have very little mechanical skill and am not getting any younger, I still want a SC, I should probable buy a new lesser quality boat ( I have also thought about the 18 Maratime Skiffs a new one w/ 90 HP & trailer about 19,000).
What I am looking for is a 20FT that has been structurally rebuilt w/ no or newer power.I would think of spending between 10K & 16K depending on condition equipment & location. I don't know if my deam boat is out-there but thats what I am looking for.

It's possible (I'd have been thrilled to spend that too!), just depends on you finding someone who has done all the work and then has an unexpected event in their life that forces the sale.

In spite of mine surveying out at a value above that of a new one, I know that nobody would ever give me anywhere near what I have into it. That being said, it'd be hard to let it go for what people would be eager to pay.
