Can you get your MONEY back ?
Yeah, I think you can - but never your time. I look at the time as a hobby more than an investment.
The big problem is power. New power is gonna depreciate no matter what you do.

For example:
Could I get 12 grand for this rig?



Probably, but put a new 250 e-tec on it and could I get 27 grand ? In 5 years ?
I think power is the killer, the hull itself can possibly get you your money back.
