Default Tank coffin area bulkheads

I took the tank out of a new to me 1976 20” SF the other day and was surprised to
find that the tank coffin area didn’t have separating, transverse bulkheads running between the main stringers at either end of the space. I was also surprised to see how “loose” the foam had been installed, especially on the forward end, where I could reach through and along the underside of the deck and touch the rear face of the fishbox.

Has anyone added bulkheads in these areas? Tying into the on-going thread about the sinking 23, has anyone tried to supplement the foam in a 20 short of doing it as part of a major rebuild?
