Pretty sure my tank area looks the same as yours (see attached pictures). The holes are new, by me to see if the ply under the glass was in decent shape. I've also included a pic of someone elses boat where the owner has removed the top layer of glass and the rotted ply floor under the tank. What you see is the center stringer and the inside of the bottom of the hull (the white PVC is the owner's recent addition-not original equipment). Thanks for the pictures. My tank hold looks exactly the same as yours. I didn't realize that the plywood was underneith that glass bottom. I stood up in the tank hold and there was very little flexing. I guess I need to drill some holes like you did to inspect the plywood. Thanks -will |

Glad I could help. Not sure you need to drill the holes. I think I probably could have left it at the 100#'s per square foot test, then added that to my age, and slept well for a long time! Now I have a bunch of holes to fill. |
