Standard Merc SS 19 with very little cup, I did have it out today and ran 48.5 @ 5500/5600 into a slight wind and it has a T Top. Kinda disappointing but I think I'm dragging too much hull

I got the same problem but no t-top .i do have bottom paint.I dont dee hoe people are getting 57-60 mph out of these hulls? I so far from that it not even funny.Let me know what rpms you get out your props. I will try a mirage 19 soon. and post. Thanks

I think you guys are both being limited by the spark advance module. If someone has 21 pitch prop throw it on, I'll bet you're still turning 5600.

The module retards timing(about 2 to 4 deg.) a high rpm, mostly around the 5850 mark.

I will try a 21, I was amazed it didn't turn a 19 higher, guys are running 19's on 23's.
