Default Re: Truck (tool) Box Mounted Rod Holder

Yes Don, but I would like it to mount to the rear facing vertical surface of a diamond plate tool box. I can photo digitally, but cannot post here. I can e-mail a photo of the box, and some measurements.

I was envisioning one aluminum pipe running the length of the box, bent 90* at each end, with a (T-Top style base) to run three through-bolts into the box. And then rocket launchers welded to that single, or double, tubing. I guess similar to the whaletail portion of a leaning post. Haven't been able to see one yet, just what I imagined it would look like. Eight rods would be tits!

Would need some type of neoprene spacers/washers to mount to diamond plate. Most of the year I think it will be a space killer, and will always be subject to sliding coolers. Arriving Mon/Ocn Counties September 12th chasing Stripers, then up to the Cape. Thanks. Mike.
