Default Re: 1970 CC seacraft 20' project boat

My 70' SF had stress cracks all over the keel area. The stringers were foam filled glass. Bought boat motor and trailer for $1500 in 94' spent a year and a half on restoration and 30K later have a perfect boat.
When I had the boat flipped over, I filled all the stress cracks with filler. Then used Hi build Awlgrip 545 primer.
No cracks to this day. The glass in the keel of my boat is
a half inch thick. Just Do-it!!!
Re-doing a boat is blood sweat and tears. But when it is done you will be proud to have a one of a kind.
Good Luck, See ya, Ken
This is the end result!
