There was that 1 boat quite awhile ago but nothing since plus it was a miami built boat. I think they have been doing much better since the move to carolina as I haven't but good good things and more important no bad. I will say though that the owner/dealer doesn't have much of a rep for service, so I would find another motor dealer to do most of that work.

I spoke to a general manager at the local Bass Pro recently and he indicated that there is a 27-28' seacraft and a 34+ Seacraft coming out in the near future. Don't know any more than that, may never happen.

Theres on up here and I looked at it hard, fit and finish aside, the 25 looks a little narrow for its length, I was told its pretty much a 23 with euro transom incorporated. The old 25 Seafari I looked at was a much bigger boat than the new 25CC. I'm sure it rides great but the price differance between the new 23' and the 25'is pretty hefty, I would expect a little more than what you get for that kinda $$$$ Good luck A 27' or 29 would be really cool.

THE 25 IS A 23 WITH A BRACKET GRAFTED... IT IS ALSO QUITE A BIT LIGHTER THAN OUR OLD BATTLE WAGONS. WERE DID THE WEIGHT GO ? MY GESS WOULD BE IN THE AMOUNT OF GLASS IN THE HULL ???

Go old, lots of glass is good.

Actually, the weight isn't in the glass, it's in the resin. Laminate strength doesn't come from weight, it comes from a high glass to resin ratio. The hulls produced today using vacuum bagging and resin infusion have a higher strenght to weight ratio than our classic hulls.

That being said, weight is a key component of the classic Seacraft ride. Heavier hulls bust through the waves better. If you don't believe it, take a ride in a Bertram. Wet as hell, but oh so smoothe.
