I put 5200 in the holes and a good amount on every bolt and "screwed" them in to get a good coat on the entired surface of the bolt/hole.I pretty much used an entired cault tube putting the baracket on. The bracket is rounded so I can still come back with black around the outside. Have a good amount of caulk that seeped inside the bracket and outside the bracket. I don't really think its possible I will get any water intrusion with the amount of 5200 I used, but if I do its a composite transom that will not be affected by water according to the manufacturer of the composite.

OK, gotta question to ask. I am starting the process of removing the three layers of anti-foulant from the hull. What kinda paint would be good to paint the bottom so it doesn't wear to much on a bunk trailer?

Got a little more work done on the little boat today. I knew there was a little rot under the bow cleat area but it turned out the all the balsa was water logged so out it came. Was going good till I got tired of the belt sander to remove the remants of rotten wood and climbed in under the cap with the angle grinder with a 36 grit paddle sander. When I came out I looked like frosty the snow man and itch from head to toe. But I got all the rot out and the majority of the original glue sanded away.Started to rain a little so I called it a day, hopefully will get it all installed sunday.

this is the starboard side near the helm. I made releif cuts about 2" X 2" squares so it would form better. Now all I have to do is give the 5200 enough time to cure before I remove the screws holding it all in place.

this is the port side further up from the dual station area

this is the very front of the bow area

This is transom area where the live well/storage hatch is

Got a lot done yesterday. Two more coats of paint on the gunnel cap. sanded the deck and got two coats of paint on it. Got the cut outs done for the vhf, gps, and steering, don't worry they are straight its just that they are only sitting in there a little crooked. Simi mounted the antennas, cleats, and lights.
