I'm not sure I would do it although these guys know better, I had one and if you just use a 25" transom it should be just fine. Mine had a 20 and wasn't bad at all, would get some sloshing if drifting in the Gulf Stream but never bad with the transom door. Just stick witk 2S power, mine had 115 and could have used 150 maybe but certainly no more is needed. Great boat with those wide gunnels, I was looking for one again but found a 20 MA that has the same gunnels, makes all the difference.
