Default Mercury 225 No battery Tilt

The non thinking idiot that I am hung my 97 225 Merc EFI on my boat but forgot that I have no batts, wiring, or wiring harness in the boat right now. So it is stuck in the bride's parking spot (she's not pissed yet) but ).

I can't move it out as I'll drag the skeg going out of the driveway and till the grass backing her into her spot....

Suggestions?

Thanks!

John, If I recall correctly,
Three wires on the TNT at back of motor from side switch
Connect jumper cables to
the red and blue wires
Blue "sky" up
Green Down
Red -Hot
All you need is a good battery or jump start battery box
to make it happen.
Good luck .
See ya Ken

Or loosen the bleed screw located on the starboard side
engine mount, through the access hole. It is just below
and in between the mounting bolts. Then lift motor and retighten bleed plug screw.

John, exactly what Ken said. That manual tilt screw might be your best option. Just be carefull sometime's their frozen, so give it a good soak with wd40 so you don't "F up" the screw head.
It should be an easy 5 min. or 5 beer job for ya. I'm usally doing it underwater.
Just remember righty tighy, lefty loosey.

Yeah Chris is right, sometimes my fingers go faster than the brain. (No comments please!)
That bleed screw has a big plastic head on it.
So the bigger the "minus sign" screw driver the better.
My daughter at the age of 10 which was 20 years ago,
when I asked her to get me a phillips, her reply was, is that the plus or minus sign screw driver. It has stuck with me ever since. Just don't bugger the head.

Hot wire on the motor....I did that to move mine. I believe the two colored wires are green and blue....green-grass-down, blue-sky-up.... If you have a jumpstart pac,
connect the ground, the jump to the appropriate colored wire.
