Great Pic Chuck!! Those bird watchers will be talking about this for years.
----------------------------------------------------- http://www.davisenterprise.com/artic...ws/351new0.txt ----------------------------------------------------- By Crystal Ross O’Hara/Enterprise staff writer A snowy owl has landed in a rural area outside of Davis, a rare event that has bird lovers flocking to see the animal, which usually lives in the icy arctic tundra. The owl was spotted by bird watchers Friday afternoon on Liberty Island Road near the border of Yolo and Solano counties, about 10 miles south of El Macero. Snowy owls fly south for the winter, but generally do not venture outside of Canada or Alaska. In recent weeks, bird watchers have reported seeing the owls as far south as Oregon and Washington — a sign of a food shortage in their usual winter home. The last reported sighting of a snowy owl in California was in Humboldt County in 1978. |

Happy New Year to all CSC addicts. 2006 found us hunting Cobia in HHI with Vezo's I & II on an 18, finding and sinking a new 20 and various other escapades. 2007 will see the 23CC come back into the lineup. God knows what new episodes will be written this year.
Best wishes to everyone on CSC for a SAFE and FUN 2007.
