Be aware that Tomoka is also famous for crow-sized mosquitos tha regularly inflict their presence on visitors, especially from July through October. Small children need to be tied down so as to not be carried off by these creatures
Actually, the Tiger Bay area of Tomoka is some of the best hunting in Florida: deer, hogs, & the Florida State Bird, aka the Elephant or Treehole mosquito. (yes, the largest mosquitos in the world)
