Default Re: Suzuki 250 4 stroke

Well it's been 6 months since I put this thing on the back of the boat and I finally have some numbers for you fellas. 23 SeaCraft with a 250 suzuki 4 stroke, 16x18.5 prop, hard top, bottom paint and a 29 inch bracket. Conditions were FAC 1/2 tank fuel and two guys on board. GPS was used to get the speed and Navman 3100 for the fuel burn.

4000rpm 24 knts 28.8mph 9.5 gph 3.03 mpg
4500rpm 28.5knts 34.2mph 11.0 gph 3.10 mpg
5000rpm 33 knts 39.6mph 16 gph 2.45 mpg
5500rpm 36 knts 43.2mph 19.5 gph 2.21 mpg
6000rpm 39 knts 46.8mph 22.5 gph 2.08 mpg

Thanks goes to Tim (Bigshrimpin) for going along with me and for figuring the numbers. One of these days I'll get you on some fish
