Default Red Neck, Hillbilly House Boat

I thought you guys might get a kick out of this. This is my dad's houseboat. He was originally going to put a jet drive single diesel in the boat but that didn't pan out so he decided to put an outboard on it just to make it mobile. This is his idea of a bracket. He bought a 19ft Sunbird (hurricane damaged boat) and cut the stern off of it and then glassed it to his POS houseboat. The Sunbird is unique that it has some sort of hydraulic tilt system and the outboard engine is just about fully enclosed. This is the most god awful looking thing that I had ever seen before in my life! He just sold his Marina and bought a water front lot next door just to have a place to keep this big POS. I swear he would be lucky to be able to get $200 for this POS. It looks like some one ran a ski boat up the arse end of this houseboat!! I promise that this is not a photo shop job!

I'm guessing he did not get his asking price for the Marina.
Water front property is so depressed now. Yeah Right!!
Look at it this way Steve, you'll be in for a bigger inheritance. Then you can get your Dad a bumper sticker that say's----
"I'm not spending my childrens inheritance"
Can't wait to see the finished project Pics.

See ya, Ken

Looks like future water taxi's in the background

Now that puts the "red" in redneck!! As Capt Chuck would say, "that's REALLY red!".

Cool. String a clothesline topside, hang some underwear and the scene will be complete.

Looks like the house boat stopped short and the sunbird couldn't.
