I'm a little nervous too about the overall strength of the bracket construction, but it sure is beautiful glass work.

make sure to give it a good test before you mount your motor. Maybe you can strap a pair of 55 gallon drums to the bracket and fill them with water . . . then trailer the boat around a school yard or mall parking lot with speed bumps.
I want a picture of that!! LOL
