Hank welcome to the site. We have the same year and same model SeaCraft. Looks like you got a decent price on her. If the previous owner replaced the stringers then he probably removed the deck to get to them which is how most people approach that repair. In that case he should have replaced the deck as well. Therefore the deck should not have any soft spots like you indicated. So something is not adding up. Either shoddy repairs or maybe he thinks he repaired the stringers but just cant remember exactly
