Personally I think the Owner of Sailfish Boat Co. is a little strange regarding his logic about boats. Let me try to explain, approx 3 years ago I was at the Palm Beach boat show and the Sailfish display was in the convention center. SOOOOO “ah what the heck” I will check out their line and went over the 23 and 26 footers. There were a few things that I really did not like but the Variable dead rise and the Longitudinal steps I paid a lot of attention to. Their boat is a little wider than the 23 SeaCraft. Anyway as I was snooping abound the boat this nice man comes up and says Hi and questions I could help you with. So I say Ya, the hull design sure looks like the SeaCraft’s not knowing at this time who I am talking to. Immediately he starts slamming Seacraft’s saying that their hull design is No Good and when “HE” did the Sailfish hull it is way better. So I’m thing What??? Then he tells me that the SeaCrafts are really really wet boats where theirs are not and the reason is because they have a better sheer angle flair at and around the bow cap and they have wider chime and that’s why their boats are SOOOO much better. You would think if you take some ones hull design you would want to give that Co Credit for it not slam them for what you took. Anyway as the conversation kind a went down hill from their he asked me did I have a boat? And you can guess how the conversation went after that.
