There are 2 members on the site that have them, probably more but 2 that I know of and both rave about the boat.

Search the archives look for members named "Joey" and "pair of jacks"

good luck

Ha Deepsix

Welcome to the board. There should not be any problems with the design of the SeaCraft 21 the fundamental design has been around for ever. The only concerns would be in the current manufacturers of that design. Usually if there were any problems in the manufacturing process they would have showed up after 7 years. A good boat surveyor could spot those potential problems. I don’t think that any warranty would be honored by the manufacturer so you would be on your own if the surveyor found anything.

I have a 2000 Sc 21 bought in 2001 as a leftover. I love the boat. I do alot of varied fishing from river/bay to 15 mi. off in the ocean and it's great for all of that. I'm not a speed demon so with a 200 opti its fast enough for me - I've never had it over about 40 kts. Only complaints- in deck livewell fills with rain water or boat wash down water- its non-gasketed- also, like all SeaCrafts, the anchor storage is not easy to get to or put back- and lastly, center console access is very tight. But with all that said, none of that would prevent me from recommending the boat highly. I do not know of any known defects or problems with the boat- like I said, I love mine. Hope that helps.
