Appreciate everyone's feedback. Sorry for delayed response.
To answer a few questions... - The transom and deck are in excellent shape. The whole hull is really in excellent condition but the navy blue paint is oxidized. - The transom is open to the swim platform - which I really like btw for easy access to the platform. The platform is a popular place to fish on a hot day. - The live well is not plumbed but can be. - Don't know the model numbers of the Furuno or Garmin GPS offhand. I'd guess they are 10-12 years old but work fine. - It does have a Float-on trailer but it's not in great shape (it sat for years while my boat was in a high & dry). - Motor. I haven't had the compression checked on the Johnson 200 Oceanrunner but at WOT the RPMS are 5500. Agree the boat is slightly underpowered with a 200. Max speed I've hit is 32 mph. This rig has always been fast enough for me though and always got me to the fish - and home. The only real problem I've had with the boat in 8+ years was a cracked fuel tank. I'm sure some people on this board can relate to that ordeal. Cost me $3,500 to replace. So anyone buying this boat won't have that to worry about! Thanks again for everyone'e feedback. Definitely helping me zero in on a fair price. |
