I believe it was that early. My '70 has the Fuel tank under the console with the Fill on the Port side of the console. In Later years all boats neede to have the Fills where an Overflow would not land in teh boat. Basically on the gunwhales.

My rear hatches are set up te same also. IS all your hatches made out of Teak Plywood? That is another sign of very early Seacraft.
