i didn't know vinegar removes epoxy. That by itself is a reason to use it instead of polyester. Epoxy is stronger and bonds better.

I didn't use plywood for the transom. I used one 4' x 8' sheet of coosa board that was 1 1/2 inch thick. I did use one sheet of plywood to recore all of my hatches. I think it was 7/16" non treated. For the transom you will need two sheets of 3/4 inch plywood - at least that is what a majority of people use. As for the floor, I dont know. You will have to take a couple of measurements to determine what you will need. -will

i would probably do my transom with the coosa but wood for the floor because of the way it holds screws better for the top and console and things.
by the way mine is getting close. you still want to plan a trip? |
