Kodiak really needs to move the incoming water fitting higher up on the tank so even if the siphon effect occurs the tank does not drain all the way. My tank is very good at keeping sensative shad alive on warm Texas lakes...and in Florida I have never lost bait in the Kodiak tank. The tank is the best tank I have ever used.
