Scupper Question

I do not like this type of scupper. They only work well when the deck and drain tube exiting the hull is well above the waterline. You will be walking in a swimming pool, you will have to get the boat on plane to evacuate. been in lots of flats boats with them. The ball seems to always float to top sealing the oriface. I prefer the horizontal style that have ping pong ball in them with silicone diphragm. They mount outside the transom you can also push the ball into the diphragm and it will work like a plug. These will work well even if your drain holes are on the waterline or very close or even well above.

what caught my eye was this-----For use when discharge is below waterline------I do not plan on raising the deck its going back to the original height/level! Thanks for the input thought they might work!
