I am not a beer drinker myself but thanks for the offer. I am aware of how the B bracket is constructed and the fact that it is open on the transom mounting face. Most aluminum brackets are. I am not trying to sell you one of my brackets only giving you suggestions. Your idea is intriguing. Necessity is the mother of invention!
