Default Re: 23CC Potter Repower

I have had a 225 Yam OX 66 on the transom since 2002 and have been very happy with it. It seems to me that weather conditions keep me in the 3400 to 4200 rpm range all the time. That’s between the 22 to 30 something MPR range. If I were to re power I would go with a 250 or possibly 300 hp not so much because I need the power but because of the “COOL RIG SYNDROME” most guys are infected with, some more than others.
