Default Boat Mover-Any Ideas??

Looking to get a 20' from Tampa to RI. Anyone know a mover that would do it. Boat is on a good road trailer.

alarie, you may already be familiar with this. This service is kind of like e-loans for shipping. Say what you need and receive numerous quotes from companies or independent haulers and you may also have some negotiation room if there are ample bids.

Good luck.

I had a 25 foot boat shipped from Long Island New York to California for $2200.00 less then a year ago. The shipper is on Uship.com and goes by the handle Grmarlow. He is a good man that went above and beyond the call of duty to get the boat to me. I would use him again.

That's a deal that'd be very hard to beat - that's less than $1 per mile!

The guy hauls motorcycles around the country and usually likes to hook something up behind his truck to help pay for the fuel. Other quotes I got were in the 4K range.

I used ubid to get the 21 and I was very happy. If you catch a guy that is dead heading home, they will usually give you a real good bid. It was less than me going to get it.
