Deck Paint Over Old...Prep? Products?

I used a random orbital as well on most of the boat. For the recessed strips in the floor I used a product called Aqua Strip. It worked great. I'm fairly certain the inside of the boat wasn't preped all that well so alot of the interior paint was coming up already. Some of the more stuborn areas took multiple applications but it still was much easier than trying to sand in those small grooves.
