Three year's ago I repowered with a Marine Power (From Jersey, but are all over), with a 315 Carb motor, since I could repair maybe and if you look at the spec's for a carb motor it is rated t 315 @ 4600 RPM and the fuel injected is/was 330 @ 4800 RPM, go figure that out. I do have a 1 1/4 shaft. Look at the older post for fuel econmy everone gets. I like the extra power on the hole shot over the 233 HP MERC I had before and the fuel econmy went up some, but these boats will like fuel.
