Mine is still bonded in from the factory so I'm not sure about your situation. On another subject, is your boat still in the original factory blue gelcoat? I have an old Mercury outboard promo video that shows a blue SeaCraft back in the early 70's and it looks great in the original color. I have never seen one like it.
