Well its been a while I have the transom in the old girl all composite! Wont have to this again Iam going to start removing all the rigging and start over the outside is in good shape has good shine I wont to fill in all the little screw holes and go back and paint the textured areas in a light gray on the inside re do all the teak and remove the t-top and fill in the holes I dont wont any screw holes in the deck Iam going to make a radar arch with rod holders and a fold out top. This is a dumb question but would anyone happen to know off the top of there head what legnth hyd steering hoses they used on a single 23 CC? Mine has old hynatics and it leaks every were. Do u think I could use a regular Seastar helm and keep the cylinder and get rid of the preasure tank ? I would think it has enough psi to work the cylinder.

As far as the hoses go, you can get Parker hose and reusable ends, make the hoses any length you want, probably need a new helm to run the system w/o the resovoire tank

OK call me liar for 30 HP - mine came with 150 Mercs and ran OK but switched to a V8 Rude and that would blow the socks off any 23 Sceptre - so you rode in a 23 with 270 new HP and think I'm wrong to say 180 or 230 isn't enough, it ain't enough I'll say it again
