Abl,Originally,I was going to gel the whole thing with an off white gel coat,then mask off all the 1/2"grooves between the original non skid strips,and either roll a coat or two of thickened gel or a gel with an additive on those strips.
Then peel off the masking in between,that would have kept the factory original look.
I also thought about doing it as above,only with the two part urethane and Griptex.
In the end,after i had to recore a few areas in the deck,it would have been much more work to get it perfect.I just felt that this would be the best for my use.
With salmon blood and slime on the floor,i wanted something that i could just scrub and hose down,without having to worry about it looking perfect all the time.
