Default Re: 23' CC prop selection, Enertias?, Peter B ple

Peter,

Thanks for the input. I wanted to try some 4 blades myself, but have heard that there is a speed compromise. It is not all about speed for me, but I do like the speed I have now, particularly the cruise, although the top end is nice too. I don't think I could swing a 21P in a four blade, but what I have learned is you never know how a prop will do until you actually try it on your boat. I didn't lose any RPM from the SWS 19's that came with the boat to the Michigan 21's. Probably because of the difference in diameter and cup. Using the prop slip calculator on go-fast.com I had like zero slip with the SWS 19's compared to normal slip with all the smaller diameter 21P props. Thanks again, and if there is anyone with any experience with the Enertias I would love to hear from them. Skyler
