In that case, I will need to leave a boat in the Bahamas in order to continue to get my fix.....

Actually, while there is not really a time when I stop fishing and winterize the boat I do have a certain drop off in the use of the boat as Fall and Winter near. I think it is more because I neglect many items through the summer and need to get back on them. It also has to do with the fishery that exists in the Summer vs the Fall and winter. I am not a fan of catching billfish, or Kingfish and with the changing weather those seem to be the active targets.

I will get out on occaision all year, but I basically throttle back late in August when I return from my annual Bahamas run. I will get back to a very active boating and fishing routine again late April or May.
