If have a 15 already you don't have much going down, thats about it I think. The best idea was to raise the motor and I will bet its too low and maybe way to low. In any case, it should be 1 to 1 1/2" ABOVE the the hull bottom, you don't want to drag the cavatation plate around, that will help I bet.
