Nice job!
What kind of paint did you end up using? I have an old I-6 115 I had been considering redoing but now I am thinking about giving it away since I will be raising the transom. Do you still have an original height transom or did you rig it on some kind of jack plate or bracket?

I have been actually closing in the transom on my Seafari. the weather here today is pretty good so I think its time to spray Gel-cote. The paint on the motor is a PPG urethane clearcoat 2 stage. Very easy to work with, hopefully by monday the motor will be mounted on the porta-bracket and the bracket will be installed on the boat.

Jboatdoc - where did you get those old decals?

blue - if you get the hard mounts and a bucket . . . You can mount a newer style cowling.
