Default Re: My Classic is officially a Classic Now

Question, My Seacraft has been eligilble for over 10 years now but the problem is, it has been registered as "Homebuilt" since it was salvaged by Dad and I since we first found it back in the early 70s. I never wanted to change it as to not "rock the boat" (pardon the pun). I have no VIN number since the plate is long gone.

Will I need a VIN (HIN?) to reregister it as a Seacraft and antique? Will the state of Florida have issues with me if I do? Should I still not "rock the boat" here?
