Default Re: Rod arch

Fred,
I got the arch from a friend who had it mounted on his BW Revenge 20. He tore it up on a tree while parking one day. He offered it to me cause he didn't have time to repair it. I cut away the damage and welded on new flanges. I shaped some HDPE blocks to fit snugly inside the gunwales and through bolted with 2" 1/4" x 2o machine screws and ss fender washers and nylocks on the back side. It's pretty stout. It's a little low for a taller guy but unless I get launched by a wave, my head clearance is acceptable. Definitely plenty of rod storage. 2 on each seat, 2 on each gunwale and the 6 up top. The deck lite is nice and being able to mount the antenna up there will give me greater com range.

I'm contemplating running some pipe forward and down off the arch to make a small convertible top... we'll see.

Now that every thing seems good the t & t is leaking somewhere. I think it's a hose but uncertain...but they are pretty raggedy.
