A storm! I know some of the history. My disceased friends parents live on Cudjoe 1/2 of the year, we used to visit frequently and fished the area, we found it coming in from a fishing trip last year, according to Bob and the neighbors it had been washed in by a storm, 2-3 years prior.
It was in much better shape last year. Windshield was completely off. The boat was a navigation hazzard as it was only 3-4 inches above the water on normal high tide.

I think we all WANT one....
I`m very happy someone saved her, and you seem to have a great deal of knowledge on the deconstrution/reconstruction process. You splashed Blackjack in record time. We all were sad that you couldn`t show off the deepest 21 in the Keys.

Looks like she`ll need a lot of fairing and blocking before you can plug her. Do you want to do a joint venture with an existing builder or go ground up?

True that on the fairing and blocking/ longboarding. I spent alot of time away from my wife and child building Emma's(My Daughter) Black Jack. I was sad too, I spoke to Carla that day, I was having some major equipment & material issues and was stuck onsite at my clients that week. I am considering all, I have dialoge with many of the most reputable non high volume builders, the boutique boat builders. I am surrounded by so many talented individuals. So yes I am looking for Joint venture, in the interim I can Kit them in different (limited)configurations.Right now with the economy the way it is, I have to be very carefull with the marine industry down at least 65% and more than 1/2 of that labor unemployed. It is Sad. There are lots of opportunities for success and failure. I would be willing offer just a shell ( Bare hull no stringers or with stringers), like what I started with. I may even offer a stitch and glue kit option. Right now I am making it easy and not locking into one specific way, I want to be easy, flexible, open and nimble. Right now, while My partner and me are in full control, We can dictate the pace, to a point.
At the same time we have been getting advice from Naval Engineers. We will continue to pursue dialoge within the industry paralell to producing. I am surprised to have run into a few folks in the industry that are keenly aware of the original hull, it's history, raced alongside it, and it's evolution.

OK Great thread and nice salvage job :cool

We just don’t see boats lying around like that up here.... especially SeaCrafts

I really have not seen anything like the 21 in the "new" boat market SO it may be that you have your niche. Not to mention the pedigree is impeccable.

Have you thought about 2-piece vs 3-piece mold? Just thinking about the 23 and 20.

If the reverses in the tumblehome will clear we may have a modified 1 piece mold/tool. Looking at the hull shape it appears it would release by pulling up on the bow first and then forward, the boat is a bit wider in mid ship. A high slip release may help in this case. I am planning on infusing the hull, CCBM. I get approached at every stop when trailering or fishing.
