Default Re: 73 Tsunami scupper question?

I did mine a few months ago,at the end of my restore of the Tsunami, and I went with new brass tubes.
I had already replaced the blocks,so they were nice and dry.I over drilled them a bit,and applied several coats of thickened Epoxy resin.

After it cured,I redrilled them to the right size and installed new brass tubes.
I bought a long length of brass tube from Hamilton marine, and cut it to length, annealed it with a torch.
I then coated the tubes, and the hole with Sikaflex polyurethane, and installed them with a flaring tool.

They came out great, and I guess time will tell how long they last.
By the way the vortex thingys work great, without them the thru deck scuppers would be a real P.I.A.
