That looks really sharp and I bet you are frothing and chomping at the bit as you cant wait to get it in the water! I like how you used square washers instead of round washers. They will be much stronger that way however I would have went with SS instead of aluminum. I usually have a welding shop punch some out for me and they can make the holes dead center for you

On the ice box drains I dont know what to say...did you make some new ice boxes in the stern? maybe post some pictures of the set up. There is nothing wrong with putting it on the boot stripe if you are worried about looks then just center it in the boot stripe if possible. For the transducer I ran the cable up thru the holes I had to drill for the trim tabs and used a cable cam to secure. Maybe you could make a small hole in the swim platform for the cable and then go thru the transom? what kind of trim tabs are you going to use? The Volvo's are really sharp.
