Two words for you Sir........you dog!!!!

As far as the t-top. Use the marine plywood where the console and T-top will sit, 2" inside and go out 6" to 8" to each side and a then a couple of inches past the front and back. Glass this in first and the foam around it. So you would cut two pieces of plywood 10" x 48" or so. In most all cases T-tops are mounted as close to the sides of the console as possible and you will also be mounting the console into wood. Heck....If you have room double the depth of the wood in order to use longer screws if you want. Just an idea.
