Default Re: Exhaust - 2 stroke

My 225 eTEC does not have any oil leakage via the exhaust. In the past I had a 115SPL that used to drip a significant amount and in the double oil break in you could actually see oil running down the skeg. I always ran this motor a bit rich so I assumed thats why there was some excess. I also run a 250 mecury and short of a very little did not have oil leakage.

Do you premix in your tank or is it oil injected? It could be a result of your mixture.

I am not a mechanic and have no idea if what you are seeing is normal, but I figured I would give you some thoughts on what I have seen in the past.
