Default Re: 1971 Seafari I/O 6 volt batteries

Fred,

There are some fairly small 12V batteries; I think Group 34 may be one. Go to some battery manufacture's web site and they'll have dimensions of all the different batteries. The Optima red top battery is fairly small and also light, but I'm not to sure about their durability. I've had one for several years and no problems so far, but I don't use it much since it's my backup. The battery/electrical guy I've dealt with for about 35 years said he dropped them after about 6 months; said they didn't hold up under heavy use. He recommends Deka. Denny
