I got a little bit of work accomplished this past weekend. There is a lot of teak in this boat and I have a new appreciation for this 37 year old wood. How it can withstand the elements for so long and still look great after all these years.
We got the engine test fit. since I raised the manifolds now have to cut the Y that comes off the out drive and put a 90 degree adapter in place. Two access hatches installed in the transom There are two areas in the helm that needed to be filled in with fiberglass panels so I laid up a small sheet of glass and cut out the pieces to fit and then cabosiled them in place. Duratec high gloss added to the gel coat Teak trim will cover the seam strick
